Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

Media Real Estate (MRE) is a Property Management Company based in Media, PA. MRE is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician! This role will be responsible for the overall care, maintenance, service, and repair of residential and commercial properties. Work hours are Monday-Friday 8AM to 4:30PM, with participation in an on-call rotation.

Job Duties: (include but are not limited to)

• Complete work orders including aspects of: general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, kitchen installs, etc.
• Complete maintenance duties in apartment make-readies as needed
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks
• Complete electronic timecard with accurate time and property information
• Work amongst a team of Maintenance Technicians
• Report to office-based Service Coordinators

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

• 3+ years maintenance experience ('jack of all trades' preferred)
• Strong time management skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently
• Strong tenant relations; someone who is personable with a sense of professionalism
• Ability to communicate with management and co-workers (verbally & written) regarding job status, repair recommendations, etc.
• Must have valid driver's license, vehicle, and tools
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Compensation:

• $25/hour (or more depending on experience)
