Job Description:

Production Operator

Esstech, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to join our team. Located conveniently off of 95 in Essington, PA, Esstech, Inc. develops and manufactures advanced materials for many industries demanding distinctive photocure technology. Our values include Quality, Innovation and Collaboration.

We are a focused team with significant development experience, which we use to provide a clear performance difference to our customers. Because each customer has a unique vision of how to approach their end marketplace, we support specific industry needs by working closely with individual customers to design value-adding solutions.

This position will contribute to our success by engaging in the following:

  • Using various equipment and machinery manufacture designated products to client specifications.

  • May at times operate a forklift or other heavy machine to fulfill job duties.

  • Complete production process from start to finish. Clean-up work area at end of shift.

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, alerting management to any potential dangers in designated area.

  • Work with the VP of Operations, Synthesis Operators and multiple members of the quality control team to ensure accurate production of products and to improve processes or reduce/correct errors or imperfections.

Experience and Skills:

In order to be considered for the position, we are looking for the following experience and education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing/production environment strongly preferred
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Ability to interact professionally with people from various backgrounds and with all levels within the organization
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; excellent multi-tasking skills
