Senior Facility Maintenance Mechanic
(Health & Beauty Manufacturing)
We are a growing Health & Beauty Manufacturer seeking an
experienced, 'hands-on', Senior Facility Maintenance Mechanic to join
our Team at PhytogenX, Inc..
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity reporting to the Facility
Maintenance Manager.
Overview of Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Responsible for performing maintenance and repairs in critical
plant utilities equipment including but not limited to: boilers, air
compressors, water treatment, UPS water generation systems, mixing
vessels, chillers, HVAC units.
- Responsible for critical installation of plant equipment and
fabrication of parts to repair or install additional equipment.
- As needed, repairs equipment in a timely manner without disrupting
the production process.
- Adheres to company policy for PPE requirements.
- Documents and files all preventative maintenance and repairs that
are completed.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
- Communicates with management personnel regarding problems and
purchasing requests.
Language Skills:
Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand English.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blue
prints, current industrial codes schematics, etc.. May be required to
speak before groups of employees and customers.
Mathematical Skills:
Must be able to pass a position related maintenance test.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply safety, quality and practical business sense to
resolve issues specific to the facility and maintenance that may arise
during daily operations.
Computer skills:
To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge
of Microsoft Office and mid to advanced computer skills.
