Job Description:

We currently have an opening for an Admissions Manager Business Development.

Position Title: Admissions Manager Business Development

Reports To: Clinical Director

Position Overview:

This position entails being a part of a management team and collaborating with all the departments. You must be an outstanding communicator able to resolve conflicts and issues. This role should have a deep respect for policies and procedures and can inspire that in others.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee department staff and daily operations including, but not limited to, adequate staff/shift coverage. Proper completion of all admissions paperwork according to standards/policies/regulations, and staff performance evaluations.
  • Manage bed flow for all levels of care that includes maintaining a healthy flow of admissions into the program, working to coordinate a system that aligns scheduled admission with anticipating discharges and/or current bed openings, and continued contact with those individuals that are on a wait list.
  • Act as a liaison to agencies including, but not limited to, BHSI, CBH, FIR, Treatment Courts, federal, state, and/or local department of corrections, sheriff departments, and probation/parole offices.
  • Must have clinical education, background, experience, and/or knowledge to aid in the decision making for referrals including presenting the case to operations, clinical, medical, and/or psychiatric staff for consults.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure consistent communication in the multidiscipline approach to treatment including, but not limited to, clinical treatment recommendations.
  • Ensure that current intake process aligns with federal, state and /or local regulations, funding sources, and any accrediting bodies.
  • Assist Director of Operations and/or Clinical Director with any additional assignments along with implementing any necessary changes.

Experience and Skills:

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health, public health, clinical profession, social work, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years professional work experience with addictions, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office and electronic medical/health records
