Sales Professional

(Retail & Direct Sales to OEM's and Natl. Retailers)

 

Ballymore Safety Products is seeking the immediate hire of a full-time Retail and Direct Sales professional.

This individual will be responsible for representing Ballymore at major national retailers and large OEMs.

In this role the successful candidate will work directly with both Safety and Operations to provide innovative solutions to safety, productivity, material handling and vertical access issues that may be challenging their business.

Ballymore is growing rapidly; this position is intended to accelerate growth in the folliowing Five (5) major sales Verticals in very important markets:

 

Rolling Ladders

Aerial Work Platforms

Material Handling Equipment

Safety Products

Custom Fabricated Products

 

The successful candidate will sell across all verticals with the goal of growing active accounts and sales dollars while focusing on helping our customers improve safety and productivity.

Under the supervisor of the company’s Vice President of Sales, this position will successfully carry out these key responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop relationships with new national retail customers, as well as major OEMs

* Present, promote and sell products and services

* Work collaboratively with customers to address safety and productivity issues. Utilizing existing products or new innovative custom products

* Actively participate in trade shows to develop lead

* Create short- and long-term plans for business growth

* Work with Ballymore’s team to develop and introduce new products and markets for existing products

* Identify opportunities and new markets for existing products

 

 

 

 

 

Experience and Skills:

 

Experience Requirements:

* Minimum of 5+ years’ experience with a proven track record of successfully exceeding sales goals

* Experience selling complex customers with the ability to work at every level of organization

* Highly motivated and target/incentive driven

* Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills

* Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs

* Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

* Excellent knowledge of MS Office

* Financial analysis of potential safety products solutions

* Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with the leadership team

* Excellent problem solving, networking, and communication skills

* Travel as much as is necessary to manage large, complicated clients’ needs
