QC Lab Technician

Job Description:

Esstech, Inc. is seeking a QC Laboratory Technician to join our team. Located conveniently off of 95 in Essington, PA, Esstech, Inc. develops and manufactures advanced materials for many industries demanding distinctive photocure technology. This position reports directly to the Lab Manager and will contribute to our success by engaging in the following:

• Certifying samples from all phases of the manufacturing process.
• Perform chemical analysis, tests, and investigations of products.
• Maintain calibration of equipment and instrumentation.
• Use various analytical wet methods and instrumentation, including but not limited to GC, HPLC, GPC and FTIR, for the characterization of organic molecules and blends applicable to the UV/LED cure industry
• Comply with ISO procedures and lab protocols.

Experience and Skills:

In order to be considered for the position, we are looking for the following experience and education:

• Associates Degree in Chemistry or related field
• One (1) to two (2) years of laboratory
• Hands-on knowledge of GC, HPLC, GPC, UV Vis, preferred. Skills with FTIR, rheometer and digital microscopy, preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite with the ability to learn new systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines

Salary Range:  $23/hr-$26/hr
