Job Description:

Sales & Marketing Analyst

(Medical Insurance)

We are expanding our Sales and Marketing Departments to now include a Sales & Marketing Analyst. This is a new role working with both departments at Homestead Smart Health Plans. You will have the opportunity to utilize your skillset while working in the Health Insurance industry.

This is an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity working in a hybrid fashion from our Center City, Phila., PA offices.

Specific Position responsibilities will include:

Excellent knowledge and analytical capabilities in Excel, Access, or Power BI with solid business acumen

Provide Ad-hoc reporting to the marketing and sales functions, and key business partners

Support demand forecasting, revenue projections and, monthly sales performance analysis

3-5 years of experience in analytical role supporting B2B operations - marketing and sales, ideally in a downstream capacity

Strong quantitative and reasoning skills

Develop and manage effective relationship with sales and marketing team to understand business needs and KPI’s

Strong presentation, communication and organizational skills

Support the assessment of sales and marketing programs, including marketing automation, and salesforce effectiveness

Support the analytical needs for new product launches and sales targeting

Brand Insights

Provide actionable overall market and consumer insights to address key strategic questions

Advise marketing projects (website, online/offline advertising, branding initiatives, product development) as the knowledge owner for customer and market data

Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data (Surveys, Questionnaires, Opinion Polls)

Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports

Analyze A/B and Multi-variate tests, communicate results and provide recommendations

Create PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to other departments

Gather information on competitors, and conduct analysis on their sales, prices and methods of distribution and marketing to thoroughly learn about the competition

Track and forecast trends in sales and marketing, and analyze in detail the data collected to provide management with thorough reports and results

Collect and analyze data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits and needs to better identify market potential and factors influencing product demand

Experience and Skills:

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree required

Minimum of two (2+) years of experience in a sales and marketing B2B environment - (Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a similar subject may substitute for experience)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal, written, grammar, and oral communication skills

Strong proficiency in social media tools: Google Analytics, Social Media Monitoring Tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.), Content Management Software, Microsoft SharePoint, Facebook Insights, HTML is a plus

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software, e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team

Ability to work independently, take initiative, identify and address tasks without prompting, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments

Strong organizational skills: ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments across multiple teams

Strong work ethic required
