LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description:

We are a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) located in the heart of Lansdale and we are looking for a compassionate and qualified LPN's to promote and restore patients’ health. You will work with geriatric patients in our Skilled Nursing or Personal Care Unit. You will provide direct care and medications as well as the support of PC Aides and CNA's to ensure exemplary nursing care is received.

Shifts available 12 hour shifts available 7pm-7am

Responsibilities of LPN

• Identify patients’ care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them
• Resolve or report on patients’ needs or problems
• Monitor and record patient’s condition and document provided care services
• Treat medical emergencies
• Administer workloads
• Follow care regulations and standards
• Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team
• Medication Administration

Experience and Skills:

Skills required of LPN

• Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Compassionate with good communication skills
• Nursing license in good standing in state of PA

Physical setting:

• Long term care

Standard shift:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift

Supplemental schedule:

• Holidays
• Overtime

Weekly schedule:

• 3x12

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lansdale, PA 19446: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• LPN (Required)
