We have a position opening for Calibration /
Instrumentation Technician. As a member of the team, the
Calibration / Instrumentation Technician is responsible for
providing preventative maintenance, calibration,
troubleshooting and repairs for all development and
manufacturing instrumentation and equipment. This requires
working with and
providing assistance to
other staff, contractors and vendors.
General Activities include:
Perform calibration and troubleshooting of industrial
controls and instrumentation for
, ovens, autoclaves, utility systems, laboratory and light
manufacturing and processing equipment.
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on development
and manufacturing equipment and instrumentation according to
approved SOPs and PM program requirements to ensure the maximum
dependability of process and utility systems.
Provide on‐site instrument repairs as well as corrective
and preventative maintenance in accordance with written standard
Diagnose equipment and instrument failures, complete
troubleshooting and repair.
Support technical and maintenance staff in troubleshooting
process equipment, process support equipment and
Procure parts and maintain spare parts inventory. Research
equipment and components needs, sources, competitive prices,
delivery timing, purchase orders and invoices.
Review engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and
schematics, and update documentation for new and revised
equipment and instrumentation.
Maintain working knowledge of current tools, software,
equipment and instrumentation, and practices by reading and
attending conferences, workshops, or other training.

Coordinate and oversee outside and vendor calibration and

documentation and maintaining records.
