Job Description:

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Harleysville, PA

Basic Job Functions:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full life-cycle sourcing, screening and hiring of all non-exempt and some exempt employees for PA locations. This position will work with management and the Talent Acquisition Manager to determine staffing needs and recruitment strategies. Will maintain strong relationships with third party vendors (staffing agencies, schools and universities). Will utilize both traditional and non-traditional recruiting strategies.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates to fill open positions.
  • Proactively strategize with management to understand business goals and recruit new hires based on production requirements.
  • Responsible for providing a superior candidate experience throughout the hiring process using the latest recruitment technologies.
  • A high touch focus with both the candidates and the hiring managers. Develops and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients.
  • Develop creative, effective recruiting strategies.
  • Screens resumes, interview candidates (by phone and in person), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for non-exempt position openings company wide.
  • Proactively develop relationships with local technical schools, colleges and university placement offices.
  • Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, social media, etc.
  • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) in order to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status.
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e., benefits, compensation, etc.).
  • Ability to handle requisition load.
  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Maintain constant and clear communication.
  • Demonstrate unparalleled integrity and high energy while working under minimal supervision

Education and/or Experience: Must have a bachelor’s degree in HR or other related business field and 0-2 years of recruiting experience.
