MECHANICAL DESIGNER AND ENTRY LEVEL MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Job Description:
Ballymore - is a manufacturer of vertical access products, material handling equipment, personnel lifts, and custom safety products with operations near Coatesville and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We have immediate openings in both operational locations for Mechanical Designers and Entry Level Mechanical Design Engineers, to support our custom engineered products sales and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities:
* Support the sales and operating teams in custom projects
* Develop custom product designs, shop detail drawings, BOM and support estimating/pricing of new projects
* Work closely with fabrication, engineering, and other personnel as required

Experience and Skills:

Experience Requirements:
* (2) Year Degree in Mechanical Design or related field. In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered
* Ability to understand blueprints, design drawings, contract specifications and then plan fabrication processes
* Demonstrate excellent computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products

Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including collaborating with other teams and providing constructive feedback
* Detail-oriented and accurate with a positive can-do attitude
* Ability to critically analyze problems and develop effective solutions
* Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
* Ability to travel occasionally (10%-15%) times per year
* Ability to work independently and resolve problems with sound judgment.
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Reliable, organized, and focused
