Experience and Skills:
Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, MBA and or
CPA preferred, a minimum of 10 years experience in an automated
accounting environment and a minimum of 7 years supervisory experience.
A background in Financial Services or Benefit Administration is preferred.
Accountabilities include a high working knowledge of Pension,
Health Benefit, and 401(k) Plans, effective communication with the
membership, Trustees, Business Representatives, colleagues and staff
and the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and
data used for financial statements and Forms 5500 and 990.
Candidate must have an excellent working knowledge of Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles, must be detailed oriented, highly
self-motivated, possess strong organizational skills and be able to
effectively meet deadlines.
