Director of Business Development

Founded in 2010, Sullivan Engineering is a rapid growth firm that specializes in Building Envelope services. We are currently a team of 40, with offices in NY, NJ, MA and AZ.

Our growth is attributed to our firm being high on transparency, accountability and continuing education with our Core Values providing clear guidance. We are extremely goal driven with our entire team taking on goals each quarter and clearly defined 1-year, 3- year and 10-year goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing Business Development Strategy
  • Leading, Managing and Supporting our Business Development Team including:
    • Marketing efforts currently performed by an outside consultant
    • Proposal Generation Team
    • Sales Team (including Doer-Sellers)
    • Working seamlessly across the other teams within the organization, and holding the business development seat in an entrepreneurial and rapidly growing EOS organization
    • Meet/surpass annual revenue goals
    • Drive accountability for the team
    • Manage team processes and assist others in executing those processes
    • Maintain existing client relationships

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business, Communications or related discipline
  • 10+/- years of relevant experience in a professional service firm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A track record of strategic planning and revenue growth
