Senior EDI Analyst - (must have HIPAA and Insurance experience)

We have a newly created opening available for a Senior EDI Analyst in
our Lyndhurst, NJ office.
This is a full time and permanent role. Our office is working in a
hybrid fashion with a few days on-site and a few days off-site at this

The Senior EDI Analyst will work with cross-functional teams of
Sales, Marketing, Administration and Business Systems to ensure
end-to-end efficient and effective process of all EDI transactions.
Routine participation with external and internal resources on
integration of new and existing data transfer protocol.
Assist with daily production files from import to operation system,
and export. The position will also have system configuration, EDI
Control Center maintenance, and EDI workflow mapping included.
Specific responsibilities include:
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on HIPAA EDI transactions on
new and existing projects.
Assist with daily production of EDI files from import to operation
system to exporting.
Create and maintain the official Trading Partner Guide for the organization.
Prepare and maintain documentation that defines operational
procedures, describes client requirements, and shares relevant
analysis outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
Configuration of existing and new Trading partners within the EDI
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Advanced experience with HIPAA EDI (837,835, 834, 270, 271, 276, 277,
278, 274…) transactions and applications.
Advanced experience with Companion Guide creation and maintenance.
Progressively responsible experience in a technical production or
applications support role
High level work experience within Healthcare claims processing,
Healthcare benefits, and Healthcare Eligibility.
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software, e.g. MS Word, Excel
(Notepad & WordPad)
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Ability to work independently, take initiative, identify and address
tasks without prompting, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments?
Strong organizational skills: ability to manage and prioritize
multiple assignments from multiple staff members
Strong work ethic required.
