Job Description:

This position involves day-to-day operation of an enterprise information technology (IT) infrastructure. The candidate will be part of a small team that supports Windows and network system administrative tasks. The main responsibilities will to be the in-house desktop/mobile device infrastructure.

The candidate is expected to support end users to resolve Microsoft Windows issues on the client machines and business applications.

  • Perform hardware installation of desktops/laptops and appliances
  • Perform OS install, upgrade and apply patches regularly
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS issues related to Microsoft servers and or vendor appliances
  • Install and configure software packages for both IT infrastructure and users as needed
  • Configure and troubleshooting mobile devices
  • Automate system administration tasks by creating/modifying Power Shell scripts
  • Provide routine first and second level help desk support to users
  • Printers maintenance tasks including maintaining print servers
  • Troubleshoot network issues, patch network connections and configure switches to activate or disable ports
  • Perform other IT related tasks as directed to ensure the effective governance
  • Experience in Install and configure new IT equipment.
  • Ability to resolve incidents with printers, copiers and scanners
  • Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
  • Accurately record, update and document requests.
  • Respond to system alerts and monitor systems
