Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Human Resources
Generalist to run our payroll functions and assist with the
day-to-day operations of the HR department. In this role, you will
be the go-to resource for employee lifecycle administration, from
talent acquisition and compliance to benefits management and
full-cycle payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll & Compensation: Oversee, process,
and distribute payroll transactions including salaries, benefits,
garnishments, taxes, and deductions. Ensure timely updates for new
hires, terminations, and pay rate adjustments while maintaining and
auditing timesheets.
* Compliance & Audits: Ensure absolute
compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour
laws. Facilitate regular audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation.
* Talent Acquisition: Recruit and facilitate
the hiring of qualified job applicants, managing the pre-employment
pipeline and criminal background checks.
* Benefits & Leave Administration:
Administer comprehensive employee benefits including health and
welfare, STD/LTD, Worker’s Compensation, FMLA, and our 401(k) plan.
Support the HR team through the annual Open Enrollment process.
* Training & Development: Coordinate
required employee training and seminars, explicitly managing our
automated training platform, Relias.
* Employee Relations: Streamline employee
communications and enforce company policies and procedures to foster
a transparent workplace culture.
Schedule & Compensation:
* Hours: Standard professional hours as
required, with flexibility coordinated directly through the Human
Resources Director.
* Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience.
