Sunday-Thursday Evenings

9:00 pm - 5:00 am

Job Title: Truck Loader – 3rd Shift

 

Hours:   Sunday – Thursday evenings 9:00pm to 5:00am

 

Location:   3317 Board Road, York, PA 17406

 

Department:   Warehouse

 

 

Responsibilities:

Perform various physical tasks related to loading trucks involving material handling and packaging. 

Handling various types of metals by hand or via material handling equipment. 

Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures. 

Other assignments as directed.

POSITION REPORTS TO:   Branch Warehouse Manager

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Hourly position; 401k; medical benefits available, PTO

 

 

 

 

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma
  • Working knowledge of decimals and fractions
  • Proficient in measuring via tape measure and micrometers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work safely in an environment with machinery, overhead cranes, and moving equipment
  • Ability to work a full shift on your feet with little stationary time
  • Agility necessary to climb stairs, ladders, and access forklifts and truck beds
  • Medium/heavy manual work involving handling over 50lbs frequently and up to 100lbs occasionally
  • Tolerance of temperature extremes encountered both inside and outside an open warehouse environment.
