Junior Accountant - Flexible, Collaborative, Growth-Oriented Environment

We’re seeking a Junior Accountant to join a dynamic team that provides bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and consulting services to a diverse client base—both onsite and virtually.

What You’ll Do: You’ll work across multiple client engagements, gaining exposure to a wide range of industries and accounting tasks, including:
  • Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Updating and maintaining General Ledger, including daily sales and deposit batching
  • Reconciling activity with external systems (POS, CRMs)
  • Performing bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Recording and reconciling payroll journal entries
  • Maintaining account workpapers (e.g., prepaid schedules)
  • Preparing adjusting journal entries
  • Communicating with clients to resolve open items
  • Preparing monthly financial statements
  • Conducting 1099 vendor analysis

Experience and Skills:

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
