Organizational Overview:
Bebashi – Transition to Hope is a
Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the
health and wellness of underserved communities.
We provide culturally responsive health education, HIV/STI
services, food insecurity relief, and support for individuals
navigating complex health and social systems.
Position Summary:
The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the
overall leadership, coordination, and delivery of high-quality,
client-centered services across Bebashi’s Wellness Center and
Prevention & Navigation Department.
This individual ensures clinical excellence, regulatory
compliance, and alignment with organizational goals, while also
maintaining the ability to provide direct care to clients within the
scope of their licensure.
Key Responsibilities - Strategic and Operational Leadership
• Provide strategic vision and operational oversight for all
clinical programs and services.
• Lead and manage the integration of Wellness Center services
with the Prevention & Navigation Department to ensure
coordinated, comprehensive care for clients.
• Establish, monitor, and revise clinical policies and
procedures to align with best practices and compliance standards.
• Partner with the senior leadership team to develop service
innovations that respond to community needs.
Program Oversight
• Oversee medical, behavioral health, sexual health, and
chronic disease services provided through the Wellness Center.
• Guide and support the Prevention & Navigation Department,
including HIV/STI testing and counseling, linkage to care, risk
reduction education, and benefits navigation.
• Ensure that all services reflect Bebashi’s trauma-informed,
harm-reduction, and client centered values.
• Monitor outcomes, quality assurance metrics, and program
performance, initiating improvements as needed. Clinical Service Delivery
• Provide direct clinical services based on licensure and
credentialing (e.g., screenings, assessments, brief interventions, referrals).
• Maintain a small caseload or rotate into service provision as
needed to support clinic operations and continuity of care.
• Uphold professional standards of care, documentation, and
confidentiality. Team Leadership and Supervision
• Supervise clinical and programmatic staff, including medical
assistants, case managers, navigators, prevention specialists, and clinicians.
• Conduct performance evaluations, support staff development,
and foster an inclusive, equitable team culture.
• Facilitate clinical team meetings and case conferences to
support integrated care delivery. Compliance, Risk Management, and
Reporting
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal
regulations including HIPAA, OSHA, DOH requirements, and other
clinical standards.
• Lead quality improvement efforts and prepare for audits,
licensing visits, and funder reviews.
• Analyze and present program data to leadership and funders to
demonstrate impact and outcomes.
External Relationships and Partnerships
• Represent Bebashi in clinical and community collaborations,
healthcare coalitions, and public health initiatives.
• Support grant development, contract compliance, and funder
relations related to clinical services.
