Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Philadelphia, PA (On-site with some flexibility)

Salary: Commensurate with experience

 

Position Summary:

The Director of Client Services is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing the delivery, integration, and quality of Bebashi’s core direct service programs: Medical Case Management, Housing, 340B Program, and Hunger Relief.

This individual will lead department supervisors and leads to ensure high-quality, client-centered, and culturally competent services that align with Bebashi’s mission and strategic goals.

The Director will champion innovation, accountability, and collaboration across programs to improve health and social outcomes for marginalized and underserved populations.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Program Oversight & Integration

• Provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight for Medical Case Management, Housing Services, 340B Program, and Hunger Relief.

• Ensure programs are client-centered, trauma-informed, equitable, and aligned with best practices in public health and social services.

• Facilitate collaboration and referrals among programs to support whole-person care. Staff Leadership & Development

• Directly supervise departmental managers and provide coaching, professional development, and performance evaluations.

• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and client advocacy within the Client Services division.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration and morale among multidisciplinary teams. Compliance, Quality & Impact

• Ensure adherence to funding, contractual, licensing, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HRSA, HUD, DOH).

• Establish systems for monitoring and evaluating program performance, including client outcomes, utilization, and satisfaction.

• Use data to inform decision-making and drive program improvement and innovation.

 

 

Fiscal & Administrative Management

• Collaborate with the finance team and CEO to develop and manage program budgets; monitor expenditures and resource allocation.

• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost-effective service delivery.

• Participate in grant writing, reporting, and site visits related to the Client Services portfolio. Strategic Planning & Partnerships

• Contribute to organizational strategic planning and implement goals specific to client services.

• Represent Bebashi at community meetings, conferences, and collaborative networks to strengthen partnerships and visibility.

• Collaborate with Development and Communications teams to highlight client impact stories and outcomes.

 

 

Work Environment:

• Primarily on-site at Bebashi's Philadelphia office and wellness center.

• Occasional evenings or weekends for events, outreach, or crisis response.

• Requires travel between program sites and local meetings. 

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Health Administration, Human Services, or related field (required).

• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in human services, healthcare, or nonprofit administration.

• 5 years of demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and direct service programs serving diverse communities.

• Strong knowledge of case management, housing stabilization, food insecurity, and other public health and social services programs.

• Experience with compliance and reporting for government grants (e.g., Ryan White, HOPWA, 340B, SNAP).

• Proven ability to manage budgets and improve systems and workflows.

• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
